Patti - The
Blonde Angel

Patti is an interesting 46 year old BBW, with diverse talents.
Those
include making jewelry, clothing, and artistic endeavors. However, the
more enticing part comes not from what you can see. What makes her special
is her accomplishments making herself an individual beyond the sum of her
past experiences.
Currently, Patty is in a relationship with a "teddy bear"
of a Man, that has lasted for 7 years. While Patty is a BBW, he is not a
FA a common term for a fat admirer. Jay is as attracted to what many consider
the norms of society. She actually preferred a thin man, until she met him.
Now they live with the Ideal of, people are people. She just recently found
there to be FAs.
When she was younger she was "drop dead gorgeous" with
a 60's hippie
Look. Replete with blonde hair downs her back and a slender figure. That
soon left when a combination of health problems and eating caused her to
Advance near the weight she is today. As with numerous women of size, she
even suffers from apnea.
Patty has confronted herself, and her life, and has decided to
take it
On head on. Focusing now on health and energy, she is starting an exercise
Program. Which has allowed her to lose some weight. She insists she will
not diet to poor health. "If I never get skinny again, I will accept
that. But I can enjoy my life and be happy, as I am." She supplements
this with vitamins and healthy cooking; she is taking Chinese cooking classes,
as she was a junk food junkie.
Having been misdiagnosed with cancer has changed her life
perspective. She has gone to natural healing methods. "And it's my
job to
protect myself." she adds.
She has attended size acceptance groups to notice few men. She
also
state the BBW struggles with self esteem issues. They don't dress well or
take care of themselves, in her opinion. "It takes... a lot of effort.
But I am worth it." is how she views herself. She feels BBW don't feel
attractive, and women associate their attractiveness with worth and turn
to frequent sex to compensate. "It's challenging sometimes. But I've
got
one life. And I'm not going to spend it hating myself. I get my hair done
in an attractive style and dress as beautifully as I know how." she
says,
again showing a positive attitude.
Helping her cope with the worlds cruelty is her faith in
spirituality and love for music. She attends and sings at Unity Church in
downtown Orlando. Drawing, likewise from being raised Methodist. She has
even had angelic experiences. She enjoys upbeat and joyful music, jazz or
rock as her mood leads. "Listening to all my music really helps me
feel
connected." she adds.
Although trying to go as God leads, she has been affected by
prejudice. People staring, "freaking out" if she wore sexy or
cute. She
dreads the buying of a bathing suit, but knows the Lord is leading her
to swim. Her feelings were compounded when her sister died of cancer. She
always felt fat even when skinny. she was to the point of anorexia. Her
ex-husband actually wanted her to lose 10 pounds when she only weighed
125. Feels she wasted time not loving herself. She loves herself more
today as large.
"I believe that I am led, guided, directed, and protected
in
everything I think, feel, say , and do. Divine Love radiates in and
through us." is her closing thoughts, coupled with, "That i care." |
